The timeline varies based on your HOA and permitting (if applicable), weather conditions, and the extent of your project. Once we understand the scope of work, we can provide an estimated time frame.
We design and build turnkey projects. In addition to pool and spa projects, optional additions include fire pits, fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, covered patios, pergolas, bathrooms, hardscaping, landscaping, and Generac generators.
Although we do not offer pool service and maintenance, we are happy to provide referrals to companies that can meet these needs.
Kyle & Angela will be with you every step of the way. You will have the owners of Thompson Custom Pools designing, building, and managing your project from start to finish.
Once the contract is signed, we will initiate the approvals and pre-construction process. This includes submitting permit applications to city building departments (if applicable), preparing HOA documents, developing construction plans, marking utilities, and laying out the pool area. During this period, we will have a selections meeting to finalize material colors and provide you with pre-construction documents to explain the process, set expectations, and address any questions you may have.
Thompson Custom Pools strongly recommends chlorine over saltwater pools. Salt systems can be highly corrosive to the materials used in pools, particularly natural stone like travertine and flagstone. We love chlorine with our UV system, which has been tested to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria. You can maintain your water at chlorine levels similar to those of your tap water!
Yes, we have various lending options to connect you with, or we can collaborate with your bank. We strongly recommend obtaining preapproval before starting the design process. We want to understand how to best align your desires with your budget!
